After qualifying in 15th place for Saturday’s MotoGP sprint race at the Argentina Grand Prix, Red Bull KTM rider Brad Binder displayed bravery and talent to win.

The podium was completed by the two Ducatis of VR46 Racing, driven by Marco Bezzecchi and Luca Marini, although the front-row starter and current championship leader Francesco Bagnaia could only manage sixth place behind pole-sitter Alex Marquez.

Before navigating the traffic, Binder found space on the inside and passed roughly half of the grid in front of him at the first turn.

“Such a start! I surprised myself a little bit there! I got really tight in turn one and simply tried to hug the inside. And only one at a time after that. I thought, ok, there’s a good possibility I can maybe stay there if I go to the front and fight like crazy,” Binder told media in a post-race interview.

As a result, the plan was successful. Early on, Binder surged up by posting the fastest lap and by the end of the third lap, the South African was on a mission to win the race. motogp.com
