Kaizer Chiefs coach Nasreddine Nabi has called for the Khosi nation to remain calm, ahead of their Betway Premiership encounter with Mamelodi Sundowns on Saturday at the FNB stadium.Nabi’s comments come after Chiefs registered its biggest win in a long time, trashing Amazulu 3-1 at the Moses Mabhida stadium in Durban. Amakhosi went on a rampage before first half, and were 3-0 up courtesy of Ranga Chivaviro, Gaston Sirino and Inacio Miguel.“We are still learning, and we are still building our bases. We have a lot of things to work on and features to build. It is still only the second match and our construction phase. We need some more time because it’s still the second match only,” said Nabi after match. Chiefs however struggled to replicate its performance in the second half, especially after Etiosa Ighodaro netted for Usuthu just after the break. AmaZulu waisted several goal-scoring opportunities, and in the process earned Nabi’s praises. “We need to pay tribute to AmaZulu and the coach (Pablo Franco Martin.)First half was very good, but second half they scored a goal very quickly and it was very hard to maintain the score positively. We still have a lot of things to build this is still a very positive result for us,” explained Nabi. This was Chiefs’ second win in the league, and it leaves them in fourth position, ahead of current league leaders, Sundowns. Meanwhile, in other matches Sekhukhune United and Chippa United settled for a 1-1 draw at the Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane. At the Athlone Stadium in Cape Town, Stellenbosch claimed local bragging rights, after they cruised to a 3-0 victory over Cape Town City. Gavin Hunt SuperSport United registered their first win of the season when they defeated TS Galaxy 1-0 at the TUT Stadium in Pretoria. The match between Golden Arrows and Magesi was abandoned due to due to a power cut with just four minutes remaining. Magesi was leading the match 1-0, and the PSL is yet to decide if the match will resume the final four minutes or start the game from scratch.
