The 2025/2026 Betway Premiership title will be decided on the final weekend of the season after Orlando Pirates missed the chance to go top.
Playing at home at Orlando Stadium in Soweto, Pirates were held to a goalless draw by Durban City, failing to capitalise on a key opportunity to move closer to the title.
The Buccaneers dominated possession and registered nearly 20 shots on goal, with five on target, but were unable to break down an ultra-defensive Durban City side. The KwaZulu-Natal outfit did not register a single shot on target.
The result leaves Pirates two points behind defending champions Mamelodi Sundowns, who have already completed their league fixtures.
To win the title, Pirates must now beat Orbit College away next weekend and hope Sundowns drop points, with the league race finely poised heading into the final round.
