Kaizer Chiefs’ Betway Premiership clash against Richards Bay has been moved from Moses Mabhida Stadium to Princess Magogo Stadium in KwaMashu.

The Premier Soccer League, together with Richards Bay FC, confirmed the venue change ahead of Wednesday’s fixture.

Moses Mabhida Stadium is unavailable, prompting the league and the home side to select Princess Magogo Stadium as the alternative venue.

The match will kick off at 19:30 on Wednesday, 26 August 2026.

Kaizer Chiefs head into the encounter joint-top of the Betway Premiership standings with seven points from their opening three matches.

The Amakhosi will be hoping to extend their tally to 10 points after enjoying a 10-day break since their last outing against Mamelodi Sundowns.

Richards Bay, meanwhile, have collected just two points from their first three matches and will be looking to use home advantage to secure their first victory of the campaign.

Despite the venue change, tickets already purchased remain valid. Tickets are priced at R100 and are available online and at Shoprite, Checkers and Usave stores nationwide.

The match promises to be a crucial test for both sides, with Chiefs looking to maintain their strong start to the season while Richards Bay fight for their first win.
