The body of a sixth woman has been discovered in Ekurhuleni, with the latest finding reported in Kwa-Thema, raising further concerns as police investigate a series of deaths in the region.

The woman’s body was found on the side of a road in Kwa-Thema, approximately 45 kilometres from Kempton Park, where the bodies of four other women were previously discovered.

Another woman’s body was also found in Olifantsfontein, about 25 kilometres from Kempton Park.

The latest discovery brings the number of women whose bodies have been found across the affected areas to six.

Investigators are expected to establish the circumstances surrounding each death and determine whether there is any connection between the cases.

The discoveries have heightened concerns among residents, while authorities continue with their investigations.

Police have yet to establish whether the deaths are linked, and further details are expected as the investigation progresses.
