This impressive performance secured Pirates a spot in their fourth consecutive MTN8 semi-final, heightening hopes of capturing a record-extending fourth crown this season.
Ouaddou’s inaugural match at the helm marked the beginning of a new chapter for the Buccaneers, and the team’s cohesive performance was a promising sign that the coach is settling into his role. Following a successful three-year spell under former coach Jose Riveiro, this victory must have eased some of the pressure on the new tactician as he embarks on a quest for silverware.
