The government is adamant that it is succeeding in refurbishing the Rooiwaal Water Treatment Plant and other nearby facilities as part of supplying residents of Hamanskraal with clean drinking water. Water and sanitation minister Senzo Mchunu visited projects alongside Tshwane Mayor Celliers Brink on Wednesday where they both committed to timelines. Six men have been shot after a shootout with Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Police Department and SAPS in Primrose. JMPD says a total of seven suspects have been arrested, and the six were rushed to the hospital where they are being treated for their injuries.
