The African National Congress (ANC) in Johannesburg has accused the South African National Civic Organisation (SANCO) of fuelling divisions within the party by alleging that the recent regional leadership election process was rigged. Taxi boss Victor Majola, who is linked to the killing of media personality Warrick Stock, popularly known as DJ Warras, has been denied bail by the Johannesburg Magistrate’s Court. DJ Warras was shot and killed last month in the Johannesburg CBD in what authorities believe was a targeted attack. The case against 22-year-old Ayanda Dludla has been postponed to 5 March for further investigation following his brief appearance at the Vanderbijlpark Magistrate’s Court, south of Johannesburg.
