Six people have been gunned down and three others injured in a drive-by shooting in Reiger Park, east of Johannesburg, on Saturday afternoon. Seven people died and several others were seriously injured in a minibus taxi crash on Comaro Road in Bassonia, south of Johannesburg, on Wednesday morning. The Johannesburg Metropolitan Police Department (JMPD) reported the accident occurred around 7:40 a.m. and involved a white Toyota Quantum minibus taxi and a grey Ford Ranger bakkie. BAIC South Africa has confirmed that local assembly of its new B30 SUV will begin at the company’s R11-billion manufacturing plant within the Coega Special Economic Zone (SEZ) in Gqeberha.
