There will be no DStv Premiership match between Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates on New Year’s Eve, the PSL has confirmed. There will no longer be a DStv Premiership clash between Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates on New Year’s Eve, according to the PSL. Due to inclement weather, the match has been moved to Friday, 30 December 2022 at 15:30 from Saturday, 31 December 2022 at 17:30. As for the venue, Loftus Versfeld remains the same. Due to the ongoing FIFA World Cup in Qatar, the league currently enjoys a break due to Mamelodi Sundowns’ lead. Currently, Masandawana have 28 points after 12 matches. A total of 13 games have been played by the Orlando Pirates, who are in fifth place with 19 points.
