Giants of the English Premier League Manchester United have paid tribute to the late rapper Kiernan “AKA” Forbes.

The Red Devils included a tribute to the rapper in the ‘In Memoriam’ section of the match programme ahead of the FA Cup Last 16 3-1 win against West Ham on Wednesday. Forwards coach Benni McCarthy, a friend of AKA’s, shared a picture of the section dedicated to him on his Instagram page.

“We were deeply saddened to learn of the death of Kiernan Forbes, otherwise known as AKA — a rapper and United supporter from South Africa. He was a huge red greatly admired by so many. Our thoughts are with his family and many loved ones,” the club said in a statement.

Forbes has publicly expressed his affection for the Red Devils throughout the years, even getting the Manchester United insignia tattooed on his bicep.
