South Africa continues to be the place to head to by international artists.

Known for its diversity in music genres and an unmatched party spirit, more international artists are booking flights to get a taste of what Mzansi has to offer.

Following the success of American singer Chris Brown’ sold out two-day concert at the FNB Stadium in December last year, American rapper Travis Scott has included Johannesburg in his Circus Maximus World Tour.

He made the announcement through an Instagram post which indicated that the record-breaking tour would make its first stop in Johannesburg at the FNB Stadium on 11 October 2025.

The “Highest in the Room” hitmaker is one of the favourites in SA and fans were thrilled to know that he’s coming.

Popular entertainer @uncle.vinny reacted with “losing my mind,” attaching the emoji of the Mzansi flag.

@swayed_sa was in disbelief when he wrote “Travis are you serious? also attaching the country’s flag emoji alongside a crying face and three fire reactions.

Another fan @ntuthukofreeman just beamed with pride commenting “Oh! What a time to be a South African.”

The Circus Maximus tour debuted back in 2023 and has seen tremendous success when it sold out in 76 stops across America, Europe, North America, Latin America and Australia between 2023 and 2024.

It was also regarded as the highest grossing rap tour in history.

Meanwhile, Mzansi will be spoiled for choice this summer, as American R&B and Jazz artist Masego, and Washington-based R&B singer and songwriter, Ari Lennox will be gracing the stage at this year’s Cape Town International Jazz Festival.

In addition, US R&B sensation Summer Walker is set to headline Rocking the Daisies 2025 also at the Mother City.

Grammy Award-winning Nigerian superstar Tems also recently had her moment in Mzansi with her ‘Born In The Wild’ concert that was hosted in Johannesburg.

It’s no brainer that more international artists are including SA in their gig guides, as a performance in the country comes with a full package that includes an experience of exceptional cuisine, affordable luxury and adventurous activities.
