The much-anticipated Nedbank Cup quarterfinal draw been conducted in Randburg, following Sunday’s conclusion of the round of 16 matches.

The quarterfinal leg also lived up to expectations last week Wednesday when Motsepe Foundation Championship outfit AmaTuks shocked Soweto giants Moroka Swallows 2-1.

The last eight teams are, Mamelodi Sundowns, Orlando Pirates, SuperSport United, Stellenbosch FC, AmaZulu FC, Chippa United, TS Galaxy and AmaTuks.

Defending Champions Sundowns and Pirates are some of the top Premier Soccer League teams still left in the tournament.

The two are still regarded as favourites to win the tournament, as both are playing entertaining and football.

AmaTuks is the only Motsepe Foundation Championship side still left in the tournament.

During the draw, the teams were not seeded and placed in one pot, and the first ball drawn, which featured the name of the club, was considered as the home club and the second ball drawn was deemed as the away club.

The Premiers Soccer League will announce the dates for the fixtures in due course.

The following is the quarterfinal draw:

Stellenbosch FC vs SuperSport United
TS Galaxy vs Chippa United
AmaTuks vs Mamelodi Sundowns
AmaZulu FC vs Orlando Pirates
