Acting Premier of the North West Nono Maloyi has fired Social Development MEC Boitumelo Moiloa who had been on suspension after falling out with the Head of the Department (HOD) Relebohile Mafokane.
The ANC’s provincial deputy chairperson, Lazie Mokgosi has been appointed as the new Social Development MEC. The fallout between Moiloa and her HOD was over a security tender alleged to have been awarded irregularly.

Maloyi the HOD will remain on leave until next month.
