Fans and colleagues from the business gathered in Durban on Sunday evening for a prayer service honouring AKA and Tebello Motsoane, his former manager.

AKA, whose true name is Kiernan Forbes, and Motsoane were fatally murdered on Friday night in front of a Durban restaurant.

According to Durban-based musician Ashleigh La Foy, AKA offered South Africa timeless music.

La Foy thanked AKA and Tibz for their “timeless immortal commitment” on behalf of the Durban hip-hop and creative industries.
