There’s increased pressure on Israel to end its 75 year old brutal occupation of Palestine and negotiate peace based on the so called ‘two-states solution’ negotiated previously with the help of the international community which would see the Jewish State exist side by side with an Independent Palestine that would have the currently disputed East Jerusalem as its capital.

The call for peace talks have been accompanied by condemnation of Israel’s continued occupation of Palestine.

Saudi Arabia which was normalising relations with Israel, a process that was to result in among others diplomatic ties and trade has since abondoned the process and has become the latest to call out what it calls a system of apartheid that Israel has subjected the people of Palestine to.

“The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia holds Isreal responsible for what happened due to its repeated provocations and deprivation of rights of Palestinians”, said Saudi foreign affairs ministry in a statement joining calls by the likes of South Africa, China, Egypt, Russia and Belgium.

Meanwhile with claims of civilian attacks, a journalist that was born and raised in occupied Palestine Abdulaziz Abubakar has accused Israel of spreading false propaganda and says ongoing retaliation by HAMAS was inevitable and enjoyed the support of the entire occupied Palestine.

“Whats happening here is a natural response from the Palestinians to the 75 years of oppression of apartheid against them. This is the first time since occupation that the Palestinians are telling the oppressor NO STOP and we trying to claim our lands back. So this is not terrorism. This is not some Palestinians trying to kill civilians, there’s no civilians. Everyone that has been targeted is a trained soldier that has been maiming Palestinians daily and this is the first time the oppressed people of Palestine are fighting back”, he said.

Israel is carrying on with an indiscriminate bombardment of the Westbank and Gaza in particular while HAMAS has continued to infiltrate the Zionist state’s military installations in an unprecedented counteroffensive.
