Arsenal have strengthened their attacking options after completing the signing of Greek winger Christos Tzolis from Belgian champions Club Brugge in a deal worth €40 million.

The move comes after the 23-year-old reportedly made it clear that Arsenal was his preferred destination despite attracting interest from several clubs during the transfer window.

Club Brugge accepted Arsenal’s offer after the Premier League side met the Belgian club’s asking price, paving the way for Tzolis to complete the move to north London.

Tzolis is expected to replace Leandro Trossard, whose future at the club has been the subject of speculation. However, Arsenal are reportedly not finished strengthening their attack, with the club still targeting another winger before the close of the transfer window. Aston Villa’s Morgan Rogers is understood to be among the leading candidates on Arsenal’s shortlist.

The signing adds pace, creativity and goal-scoring ability to Mikel Arteta’s squad as Arsenal continue to build a team capable of challenging for both the Premier League title and the UEFA Champions League.

Tzolis joins Arsenal after impressing in Belgium with Club Brugge, where he established himself as one of the league’s standout attacking players. Capable of playing on either wing, the Greek international is known for his dribbling, direct running and ability to contribute both goals and assists.

Arsenal have made reinforcing their forward line a priority this summer as the club looks to add greater depth and quality following another title challenge. While Trossard has played an important role since joining from Brighton & Hove Albion, reports linking him with a departure prompted Arsenal to move for a younger long-term option.

The Gunners are expected to remain active in the transfer market before the window closes as Arteta continues reshaping his squad for the 2026/27 season.

An official announcement from Arsenal and the clubs involved would independently confirm the completion of the deal.
