Russia has completed its shipments of tactical nuclear weapons to Belarus, according to the country’s president, raising international concern. At a meeting of a Moscow-led economic bloc in St Petersburg, Alexander Lukashenko said the deliveries were finished in October – though he didn’t say how many or where they have been deployed. DStv Premiership outfit Richards Bay FC have sacked their head coach, Kaitano Tembu. This was announced by the relegation-threatened club in a brief statement on Christmas Day. “Richards Bay Football Club would like to announce the release of Head Coach Mr. Kaitano Tembo with immediate effect. The late Afro-Pop sensation Bulelwa Mkutukana, popularly known as Zahara, has been described as someone who never forgot her roots. Transport Minister Sindisiwe Chikunga has revealed that there have been 719 road fatalities in the country since 1 December. This is less than 32 deaths from the same period last year, which was 751, leading to a 4.3% decline in fatalities. The North West MEC for Community Safety and Transport Management Sello Lehari has assured the family of Matshidiso Mokotedi that he will leave no stone unturned until justice is served. This after the 31-year-old Rustenburg-based traffic officer, was brutally murdered by her alleged partner.
