The body of a newborn baby was discovered in a disposal bag at a dumping site near a squatter camp in Vosman. On Wednesday, November 30, Vosman Police were dispatched to a squatter camp dump site after a member of the community noticed the bag. When the police arrived, they conducted an initial investigation, which revealed that the plastic bag contained the body of a newborn baby. Health Minister Joe Phaahla has expressed concerns over the potential worsening of the measles outbreak during the festive season. Phaahla addressed the media on Thursday on the sidelines of a health ministry meeting in Boksburg. Engie SA expects to move forward with three South African solar projects this week as the nation struggles to accelerate a program to add renewable power.
