Rassie Erasmus, has made many changes to his squad for Saturday’s Rugby Championship match against the All Blacks at Ellis Park.

There are nine changes to the lineup that defeated the Wallabies 30-12 in Perth.

The Springboks are without veteran lock Eben Etzebeth, who is out with a back ailment. Salmaan Moerat, who captained the Perth Test but left the field due to a concussion, is also unavailable.

As a result, Pieter-Steph du Toit and Ruan Nortje will form the lock combination. Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu also keeps the No. 10 jumper, with Handre Pollard on the bench, and Aphelele Fassi replaces Willie le Roux at fullback.

Jasper Wiese returns from suspension and will start at number eight. The Bok pack has six alterations from the starting lineup that featured in Perth, including Ox Nche in the front row and the recall of rested Frans Malherbe and Bongi Mbonambi.

Du Toit goes from the scrum to partner Nortje, and Wiese is joined in the loose three by captain Siya Kolisi and Ben-Jason Dixon, who has recovered from the knee injury that sidelined him in the Perth Test.

In the backline, Erasmus reinstated Damian de Allende to partner Jesse Kriel at centre, while Kurt-Lee Arendse returned to the team, joining Cheslin Kolbe and Fassi in the back three.

Saturday’s Test kicks off at 17:00 at Ellis park stadium.
