Brazil booked their place in the FIFA World Cup 2026 knockout stages with a convincing 3-0 victory over Scotland in their final Group C match.

The five-time world champions delivered a dominant performance, controlling possession and creating numerous scoring opportunities as they comfortably dispatched the Scottish side.

The victory ensured Brazil finished top of Group C with seven points from three matches, having previously drawn with Morocco and defeated Haiti. The result confirmed their progression to the Round of 32 and reinforced their status as one of the tournament favourites.

For Scotland, the defeat marked a disappointing end to their group-stage campaign. Despite opening the tournament with a win over Haiti, successive losses to Morocco and Brazil saw them finish third in the group and miss out on automatic qualification.

Brazil will now turn their attention to the knockout stages, where they will aim to continue their quest for a sixth FIFA World Cup title. The Seleção are set to face the runners-up of Group F in the Round of 32.
