Bukayo Saka Commits Future to Arsenal with New Five-Year Contract

Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka has signed a new five-year deal, keeping him at Arsenal F.C. until 2031 and securing the long-term future of one of the club’s most influential players.

The 24-year-old’s previous contract was set to expire in June 2027, but the Gunners moved early to fend off growing interest from top clubs across England and Europe. Known affectionately by fans as “Three Starboy,” Saka is reported to have prioritized remaining at the Emirates Stadium.

Since breaking into the first team, Saka has become central to manager Mikel Arteta’s plans. Arsenal are currently competing on multiple fronts: they lead the Premier League, have progressed to the UEFA Champions League last 16, are through to the FA Cup fifth round, and are preparing to face Manchester City F.C. in the Carabao Cup final.

Reports suggest Saka’s new contract makes him the club’s highest-paid player, with weekly wages believed to exceed £300,000. A graduate of Arsenal’s academy and a fan favorite, Saka has made 239 appearances for the club, scoring 77 goals. This season, he has netted seven times in 33 matches, although he is currently on a 15-match goal drought, last scoring in a 2–0 win over Brentford in December 2025.

Saka also captains the side in the absence of Martin Ødegaard and continues to lead Arsenal’s key attacking metrics, including goals, assists, and chances created from the right wing.

At the international level, Saka has scored 14 goals in 48 appearances for the England national football team and is expected to feature in FIFA World Cup preparations later this year.

The new deal reinforces Arsenal’s long-term project as they pursue major silverware this season and beyond, ensuring that Saka remains a cornerstone of the club’s ambitions.
