The release of the recent sneak preview of the much anticipated Avengers: Doomsday movie has sparked a lot of speculation, with fans predicting thrilling action that is going to place them on the edge of their seats.

The teaser depicts Chris Hemsworth who plays Thor, known as the God of Thunder and considered as one of the strongest Avengers characters, praying and pleading for a safe return from battle to his daughter.

The sneak peek triggered a frenzy on social media, with Marvel fans foreseeing a challenging battle for the heroes in this instalment of the movie.

Avengers: Doomsday will form part of the main Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) films, adding on to the first one titled Avengers (2012), Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015), Avengers: Infinity War (2018) and Avengers: Endgame (2019) .

It is expected to break a new grossing record at the global box office, after Avengers: Endgame reached the highest with estimated sales of $2.799 billion.

The film is scheduled to show in Cinemas on the 18th of December as an early Christmas present to MCU fans.

In addition to this, Marvel is reportedly working on Avengers: Secret Wars, which will be released in December 2027, marking the Finale of the Multiverse Saga.

On social media, fans are currently having fun debating and guessing which superheroes will be selected to appear in the 2026 film.
