The ANC Ekurhuleni said in a statement it took note of the racist rants made by one “alleged” Belinda Magor on social media platforms.
The party was responding to a voice recording that has been circulating on social media, where Magor is heard saying that black men must be killed and black women must be forced to remove their organs in order to stop the black nation from growing.
“The woman looks at black people miss, the old days were her ancestors castrated black slaves who resisted slavery. We wish to express that such people have no place in our democracy and her remarks cannot be left unattended, if not by the law enforcers, and then the people are encouraged to decisively respond in a more revolutionary manner”.
Newsnote initially reported that Magor is from KwaZulu Natal but it has since been established that she is in fact from Ekurhuleni where the ANC statement implied that she has a store in the area.
The party is mobilising for people to come out on Monday 27 November, to ensure that ‘this racist operation is shut down for good’
“We call on members of the ANC and the community at large to join us as we fight racism against the natives of this land. We encourage our members and the people within the City to prepare themselves to do what is revolutionary just in dealing with this matter” said the party’s acting regional secretary Moipone Mhlongo.
