Orlando Pirates have strengthened their attacking options with the signing of Norwegian striker Sebastian Pedersen from Sogndal Fotball.
The 27-year-old has signed a two-year contract with the Buccaneers, with the club holding an option to extend the deal by a further year.
Pedersen becomes the latest addition to head coach Abdeslam Ouaddou’s squad as Pirates continue to bolster their team ahead of the new season.
The striker arrives from Norwegian club Sogndal Fotball, renowned for developing talented players. Pedersen progressed through Norway’s youth national teams, representing his country at every level from Under-15 to Under-21.
Known for his clinical finishing and intelligent movement in the penalty area, Pedersen has established himself as a reliable goalscorer rather than a traditional target man.
He joins Orlando Pirates with an impressive record of 51 goals in 117 appearances and will be expected to add firepower to the Buccaneers’ attack as they compete across domestic and continental competitions this season.
