Family and friends bade farewell to Tshegofatso Ramogale from Tlhabane Rustenburg, whose lifeless body was found at the nearby primary school, at his funeral on Saturday.

Tshegofatso’s friend Thabo Tshweu, said he’s devastated by his friend’s murder. He said he has been friends with Tshegofatso since they were children and finds it difficult to believe that he’s gone forever.

Tshweu added that his friend was a bubbly person, who loved music and wanted to pursue it as a career. He said he’s shattered by how his friend died and hopes that justice will be served, so that Tshego’s soul can rest in peace.

Ramogale’s uncle, Tshepo Masikane said his nephew will be missed mostly by his grandparents, who were staying with him, adding that he has left a great void that will be felt by his  parents.

A case of murder against four people suspected to be behind Tshegofatso’s killing have been opened after they were arrested. The suspects are expected to appear at the Rustenburg Magistrates Court on Tuesday, 11 July 2023.
