The recent make-up masterclass that was hosted by South Africa’s media personality and entrepreneur Bonang Matheba alongside UK fashion and beauty influencer, Uche Natori, with the largest French cosmetic company, L’Oreal in South Africa, broke the Guinness World Record of being the biggest masterclass in the world.

The beauty gathering that was held in Johannesburg on 7 December, was attended by about 600 self-care devotees, who got the chance of a lifetime to receive make-up tips from the best in the game.

The announcement of the groundbreaking achievement was shared live on stage with attendees, while Matheba and Natori were on stage with L’Oreal South Africa’s team, beaming with excitement and appreciation.

Some of the enchanting highlights captured on stage was of the team posing for a group moment, with the audience in the background chanting L’Oreal’s slogan with a personal twist “Because we are worth it,” as everyone bellowed.

The exclusive event treated guests to an expert-led makeup tutorial, full makeup kits, and an opportunity to socialize with fellow beauty lovers amongst others.

Bonang closed the programme by thanking everyone for their contribution into making the event an ultimate success.

Mzansi also joined celebrations on social media, extending congratulatory messages to Matheba for her stellar hosting skills, while thanking Natori for her exquisite makeup tips.

“Everything my girl B touches literally turns into Gold,” wrote @the_mbalzieee on X.

@mava_meezy commented “Written in history books,” on Instagram.

The success of this masterclass has hyped those who were not able to show up this time, to prepare for the next event and ensure that they don’t miss it.
