The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) has warned 210 000 beneficiaries that they’ll experience a delay in receiving their June grant payments. This as the agency said the beneficiaries might be receiving an income that they didn’t disclose prior to their application. Three people have died, and 12 others have been injured after a bus plunged off a more than 50m bridge in Maidstone Road in Tongaat, KwaZulu-Natal. According to the Road Traffic Inspectorate (RTI), the victims are three women from Ward 62, Burbreez, Tongaat. Police in Ipelegeng, Schweizer-Reneke, in the North West, have made a breakthrough following the arrests of three people in connection with the outbreak of violence in the area and gang related clashes.
