Team SA has withdrawn both its men’s and women’s hockey teams from the 13th African Games currently under way in Accra, Ghana, based on recommendations and guidelines as set down by the International Hockey Federation. The Minister of Justice and Correctional Services Ronald Lamola has signed off extradition request for of Siyabonga Ndimande and Malusi Ndimande from the Kingdom of Eswatini to South Africa. The siblings are wanted in South Africa for their alleged involvement in murder of rapper Kiernan “AKA” Forbes and his friend Tebello “Tibz” Motsoane. The Independent Electoral Commission (IEC) has dismissed a staff member who leaked the candidate lists of the African National Congress (ANC) and uMkhonto weSizwe (MK) last week Friday. The two party’s lists were posted on social media, hours after both parties met the 17:00 IEC deadline to submit the list to the commission to contest this year’s elections.
