Angry community members, mostly learners, have torched the Incredible Happenings Ministries church in Katlehong, which belongs to Pastor Paseka Motsoeneng, popularly known as Pastor Mboro. The Gauteng Education Department has condemned the disturbing violent scenes at Katlehong Primary School, where a scuffle erupted between heavily armed men, school staff and some community members. The Department of Mineral Resources and Energy has announced another fuel decrease with effect from the 7th of August. “Both grades of petrol will decrease by 15 cents a litre. Diesel will decrease by 28 and 17 cents a litre. Illuminating paraffin at retail level will decrease by 29 cents per litre. Maximum retail price of LP Gas will decrease by 14 cents per kilogram,” said the Department spokesperson, Robert Maake. Police have rescued 90 undocumented Ethiopians who were allegedly being kept against their will and under inhumane conditions in Sunnydale Ridge, Johannesburg. According to the police, the discovery was made when a multi-disciplinary team led by the Special Task Force (STF) unit were tracing a victim of kidnapping for ransom when they also made the discovery of the undocumented nationals who were found locked up, confined and packed into rooms. “Investigations are underway as to how these nationals were trafficked into South Africa.
