Police Minister Bheki Cele said the property developer, contractor, and sub-contractors haven’t been forthcoming with information to assist with the investigations, regarding the collapsed building in George, in the Western Cape, hasn’t been cooperative with the authorities. At least five people have died and dozens more are believed to be trapped under rubble after a multi-storey apartment building under construction collapsed. Officials in the city of George, on the country’s southern coast, say 49 people are still trapped while 21 have been taken to various hospitals, at least 11 of them having suffered severe injuries.
