South African Airways (SAA) has expressed confidence that its operations would return to a 100% flight schedule on Sunday. This after the pilots wage strike was suspended yesterday, following an agreement between SAA Executive Management and the South African Airways Pilots Association (SAAPA). The deal would see the pilots receiving an additional 1% salary increase, resulting in a total salary increase of 9.47% for SAA pilots. The pilots downed tools last week Thursday, demanding a 15.7% salary increase, better working and employment conditions. These were most of the sentiments echoed during his Special Provincial Official Funeral Service at Lekubu village in the Ramotshere Moiloa Local Municipality in the North West. Police in the North West said 26 illegal miners, have resurfaced from the abandoned mine in Stilfontein, near Klerksdorp in the past 48 hours.
