The City of Tshwane Municipality and Eskom have reached an agreement to settle the R6.67 historical debt owed to the entity. Inherited debt from Eskom. Included R700 million in interests. The National Consumer Commission (NCC) has warned consumers to exercise caution when interacting with certain suppliers during this Black Friday, during the festive season and beyond. The NCC said it has identified about 40 suppliers that seem to have either disappeared or cannot be traced at their addresses listed on the sales records or websites provided to consumers. A two-year-old child from Randstad village in the Greater Taung Local Municipality in the North West has passed away, after consuming snacks that were allegedly contaminated.
