The new film Piano Love by award-winning director and founder of production company, Black Brain Pictures, Mandla Ncgongwane known as Mandla N, has finally dropped on Netflix.
The storyline follows the lives of leading roles, Hip-hop star, Senzo “Kwesta” Vilakazi and choreographer Bontle Modiselle-Moloi, who play Sipho and Lerato.
They potray childhood friends who reconnect after years of being apart, only to experience similar challenges of rejection and other difficulties, in their bid to achieve their dreams within the entertainment industry.
After Piano Love’s official premiere on Netflix viewers didn’t waste time to jump in and voice their critiques.

Despite having been in the industry for over 15 years and winning about six South African Music Awards among other accolades, for Kwesta, this was his first acting debut.
Meanwhile, Modiselle-Moloi who has been nurturing her brand in the dance scene, stepping into a leading role came with pressure but she is looking forward to more screen time.
Although there are mixed reactions regarding the visuals of the scenes, Piano Love has received praise for promoting the Amapiano music genre.
Top charting tracks including Mnike by Tyler ICU and Kamo Mphela’s Dalie tune were amongst the featured soundtracks in the movie.
This comes at a time the yanos are breaking both continental and international barriers.
